The membership fee is per half year season (Jan to May and Sep to Dec).

We charge a membership fee because the spaces we use aren’t entirely free. Any profits are spent on events for everyone in the community.
Finances
A little more about the money ?
- Everybody pays. Full stop. Regardless if we can only join 15 minutes every full moon, we pay. Even if we work a lot for the community and open the doors, play music, manage the website, we pay. There are no hidden free-attendants like specially invited dancers or “valued community members”, who go under the radar.
- If you want to spend money from the shared account on snacks, parties, workshop teachers then just tell us, and we’ll do it. As long as it’s something reasonably shareable and it doesn’t break the economy, go for it.

- None of the money goes to special funds or scholarships – in other words none of it goes to any one individual. It’s not a business, it’s a community.
